    Let \(P_j(x, D)\), \(j= 1,\dots, N\), be quasi-homogeneous linear partial differential operators: \[ P_j(x,D)= \sum_{\langle\alpha, q\rangle\leq m} a_{j\alpha}(x) D^\alpha \] with \(\langle\alpha, q\rangle= \alpha_1 q_1+\cdots+ \alpha_n q_n\). The related space of the Gevrey vectors \(G^s\) (\(P_j\), \(j= 1,\dots, N\)) is defined as the set of all the functions \(u\in C^\infty\) such that locally \[ \| P_{i_1}\cdots P_{i_k} u\|_{L^2}\leq C^{k+1}((km)!)^s \] for any choice \(1\leq i_j\leq N\). Moreover, the standard Gevrey anisotropic space \(G^{sq}\) consists of all \(u\in C^\infty\) satisfying locally \[ \| D^\alpha u\|_{L^2}\leq C^{|\alpha|+ 1}(\alpha_1!)^{sq_1}\cdots (\alpha_n!)^{sq_n}. \] The authors prove that \(G^s\) \((P_j,\,j= 1,\dots, N)\subset G^{sq}\) if and only if the system \(P_j(x)\), \(j= 1,\dots, N\), is quasi-elliptic with respect to \(q\). This extends previous results of \textit{L. Zanghirati} [Boll. Unione Mat. Ital., V. Ser. B 18, 411--428 (1981; Zbl 0477.35047)].
