In their work the authors discuss a specific unifying geometrical description of metrical degrees of freedom and of internal degrees of freedom. This is achieved by studying the transformation groupoid that is given by the action of a finite subgroup of the Lorentz group on the frame bundle of a space-time manifold. In this respect the approach presented is considered as a model indicating the direction one may think of in trying to unify gravity with quantum theory. The main feature of the model is that the ``metric is always defined on the module of derivations'' and the (generalized) Einstein equation is ``to be solved with respect to both metric and derivations''. The authors show that the Einstein equation for the internal sector reduces to an eigenvalue equation which for a finite subgroup is explicitly solved. Moreover, the cosmological constant serves as an appropriate eigenvalue. The transition to ``classical geometry'' is achieved by an appropriate averaging in the sense of the well-known Ehrenfest Theorem.
