The symmetric satellite is a Hamiltonian system with three degrees of freedom and two commuting first integrals. Continuing the examples of the author's previous paper [Ann. Fac. Sci. Toulouse, VI. Sér. 12, 1--23 (2003; Zbl 1042.37039)] it is proved that this Hamiltonian system is non-integrable using the well-known symplectic reduction.
