In development of predecessors results [\textit{C. E. Chidume}, Appl. Anal. 23, 209-218 (1986; Zbl 0597.47039); \textit{S.-S. Chang} and \textit{K.-K. Tan}, Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 57, No. 3, 433-445 (1998; Zbl 0910.47049)] the author introduces the concept of \(\Phi\)-pseudo contractive type mappings for study the approximation problems of Ishikava and Mann iterative sequences with error to fixed points of single-valued and multi-valued \(\Phi\)-pseudo contractive mappings which need not satisfy the Lipschitzian condition.
