Separation of variables and exact solutions to quasilinear diffusion equations with nonlinear source (Q1586875): Difference between revisions

This paper deals with the separation of variables and exact solutions for the quasilinear diffusion equation with a nonlinear source. The authors present a list of canonical forms for such equations which admit functionally separable solutions. A large number of exact solutions for these equations are obtained by the approach of separation of variables; the behaviour and blow-up properties of these solutions are described. Some comments are given in the end of the paper.
