The author studies the following hemivariational inequality of Neumann type: \[ \left\{ \begin{matrix} -\text{div}\,\big(\| Dx(z)\| ^{p-2}Dx(z)\big)\in\partial j_1\big(z,x(z)\big) \quad\text{a.e. on}\;Z\\ -\frac{\partial x}{\partial n_p}\in\partial j_2\big(z,\tau(x(z))\big) \quad\text{a.e. on}\;\Gamma,\;2\leq p<\infty, \end{matrix} \right. \] where \(Z\subseteq\mathbb{R}^N\) is a bounded domain with a \(C^1\) boundary \(\Gamma\), \(\partial j_i\) is the Clarke derivative of a locally Lipschitz potential \(j_i\) (\(i=1,2\)), \(\tau\) is the trace operator. Under an appropriate set of assumptions on the potentials \(j_1\) and \(j_2\) and using the Mountain Pass Theorem for locally Lipschitz functions, the existence of a nontrivial solution \(x\in W^{1,p}(Z)\) is proved.
