The paper under review deals with local regularity of the bounded weak solutions to the uniformly parabolic linear parabolic equations of the form \[ u_t-\sum_{i,j=1}^n D_j(a_{ij}(x)D_iu)=g(x,t)-\sum_{i=1}^n f^i(x,t) \] with time-independent principal coefficients $a_{ij}$ which are supposed to be bounded and VMO. Assuming $g\in L^q$ and $f^i\in L^s$ with $q>(n+2)/2$, $s>n+2$, and applying machinery based on the growth properties of the Green function and hole-filling technique, the authors prove that the spatial gradient of $u$ belongs locally to a Morrey space $L^{2,\lambda}$ with $\lambda$ determined by $n,s$ and $q$. \par The result is not new and it seems the authors have missed the developments in the field in the last 25 years. Moreover, they claim optimality of the regularity obtained without providing any plausible argument.
