The authors prove attractive and fixed point theorems as well as a nonlinear ergodic theorem for 2-generalized hybrid mappings in Hilbert spaces, extending results obtained for generalized hybrid mappings by \textit{W. Takahashi} and \textit{Y. Takeuchi} [J. Nonlinear Convex Anal. 12, No. 2, 399--406 (2011; Zbl 1230.47085)].
