The authors use the monotone iterative technique to investigate the existence of extreme solutions to Volterra-type integro-differential equations. The paper begins by presenting a comparison result that is used in the subsequent analysis. The main result of the paper is the construction of monotone sequences \(\{\alpha_n\}\) and \(\{\beta_n\}\) whose uniform limits are, respectively, extremal solutions of the boundary value problem.
