Let \(\mu\) be a translation invariant measure in the space \(\mathbb{E}\) of planes in \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\) such that \(d\mu = m(d \xi) \times dp\). The measure \(m\) supported on the sphere is called the rose of directions of \(\mu\). A flag is a pair \(f = (g,e)\), where \(g\) is a line containing the origin \(O\) of \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\), and \(e\) is a plane containing \(g\). \(\mu\) induces a measure on the space of flags possessing some density \(\rho\). Given this density \(\rho\) the author gives integral formulas expressing the values of the measure \(m\) on circles and polygons on the sphere as well as of spherical domains bounded by piecewise smooth curves.
