The space \(C_ b(X;E)\) endowed with the \(\beta _ P\)-topology is a (gDF)-space if and only if E is a (gDF)-space. As a corollary, \(C_ b(X;E)\) endowed with the strict topology \(\beta _ 0\) or \(\delta\) is a (gdF)-space if and only if E is a (gDF)-space.
