The author, extending his own results [\textit{B. S. Choudhury} and \textit{M. Ray}, J. Appl. Math. Stochastic Anal. 12, 161--168 (1999; Zbl 0930.47031) and \textit{B. S. Choudhury} and \textit{A. Upadhyay}, Soochow J. Math. 25, 395--400 (1999; Zbl 0946.47046)], introduces a random fixed point iteration that is a random Mann iteration scheme and shows that the random iteration, if convergent, will converge under certain conditions to a random fixed point of a random operator defined in the context of a separable Hilbert space.
