The authors prove existence of bounded solutions for a class of nonlinear elliptic problems. A prototype equation is the following \[ -\text{ div}(a(x,u,Du)) = k_1(| u| )| Du| ^p + k_2(| u| )f, \qquad u \in W^{1,p}_0 \cap L^\infty\,. \]
