Of concern is the uniqueness of solutions to the reaction-diffusion systems \[ u_t=\Delta u+v^p,\quad v_t=\Delta v \] in \(\Omega:=\{(x_1,y): x_1>0,y\in {\mathbb R}^{N-1}\}\) (\(N\geq 2\)), which are related by the boundary conditions \(\partial u/\partial x_1=0\) and \(\partial v/\partial x_1=-u^q\) in \(\partial\Omega.\) Moreover, both \(p,q\) are positive numbers. The author shows that the uniqueness for nonnegative solutions is ensured if \(pq\geq 1,\) and is broken down if \(pq<1.\)
