The authors prove that in ternary semigroups, quasi-ideals are bi-ideals but not conversely, where quasi-ideals are sets \(Q\) containing the intersection of \(QTT\), \(TQT\), \(TTQ\) and the intersection of \(QTT\), \(TTQTT\), \(TTQ\) for ternary semigroup \(T\), and biideals are sets \(B\) containing \(BTBTB\).
