In a former paper [J. Algebra 106, 206-220 (1987; Zbl 0617.16010)] the author has shown how to construct all simply connected [\textit{K. Bongartz} and \textit{P. Gabriel}, Invent. Math. 65, 331-378 (1982; Zbl 0482.16026)] \(\text{QF-}3\) algebras of finite representation type over an algebraically closed field from ``elementary'' \(\text{QF-}3\) algebras (i.e. simply connected \(\text{QF-}3\) algebras with an indecomposable faithful projective injective module), and has presented a list of all (basic) elementary \(\text{QF-}3\) algebras of finite representation type. In the present paper Galois coverings [\textit{P. Gabriel}, Lect. Notes Math. 903, 68-105 (1981; Zbl 0481.16008)] are used to apply the results in order to classify all basic connected \(\text{QF-}3\) algebras of finite representation type. Conditions are given which characterize the quasi-Frobenius algebras among these \(\text{QF-}3\) algebras.
