In [``A study on the integral of the product of several type Bernstein polynomials'', IST Trans. Appl. Math. Model. Simul. and ``On the generating function of the Bernstein polynomials'', in: Proceedings of the 8th International Conference of Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics (ICNAAM '10), September 2010], \textit{M. Açıkgöz} and \textit{S. Araci} have introduced several type Bernstein polynomials. The Açıkgöz and Araci paper announced in the conference actually motivated to write this paper. In [Abstr. Appl. Anal. 2010, Article ID 769095, 12 p. (2010; Zbl 1185.33013)], \textit{Y. Simsek} and \textit{M. Açıkgöz} constructed a new generating function of the \(q\)-Bernstein type polynomials and established elementary properties of this function. In [Discrete Dyn. Nat. Soc. 2010, Article ID 706483, 12 p. (2010; Zbl 1198.33005)], \textit{T. Kim} et al. proposed the modified \(q\)-Bernstein polynomials of degree \(n\) which are different \(q\)-Bernstein polynomials of Phillips. In [Adv. Stud. Contemp. Math., Kyungshang 20, No. 3, 335--341 (2010; Zbl 1262.11020)], \textit{T. Kim} et al. investigated some interesting properties of the modified \(q\)-Bernstein polynomials of degree \(n\) related to \(q\)-Stirling numbers and Carlitz's \(q\)-Bernoulli numbers. In the present paper, the authors prove formulas with \(q\)-Euler numbers and polynomials, \(q\)-Stirling numbers of first and second kind. They also investigate some interesting properties of the modified \(q\)-Bernstein polynomials of degree \(n\) related to \(q\)-Euler numbers and \(q\)-Stirling numbers by using fermionic \(p\)-adic integrals on \(\mathbb Z_p\).
