The paper deals with some new properties of invariant sets and attractors of diffeomorphisms, in particular the authors prove coexistence of dense sets of periodic points with different indices and the existence of a dense orbit with zero Lyapunov exponent. The questions under considerations can occur under nonlocal bifurcations. The main ingredients of the construction are random dynamical systems, which can be realized as subsystems (restrictions to invariant subsets) of smooth dynamical systems. The authors provide the paper with several interesting conjectures.
