A log-symplectic manifold is a pair \((X, \Phi)\), where \(X\) is a complex manifold, and \(\Phi\) is a generically nondegenerate meromorphic closed \(2\)-form with normal-crossing polar divisor \(D.\) In previous work [J. Inst. Math. Jussieu 19, 1509--1519 (2020; Zbl 1447.32019)], the author showed that when \(\Phi\) satisfies a general condition with respect to \(D,\) the pair \((X, \Phi)\) has strongly unobstructed deformations and \(D\) deforms locally trivially. In this work, a stronger unobstructedness result is obtained, given by an inequality involving the iterated Poincaré residues of \(\Phi\) at the components of the double locus of \(D.\)
