Let \(C\) be a nonempty compact convex subset of a Banach space \(X\). In the present paper, the authors study the existence of fixed points for mappings \(T:C\rightarrow C\) satisfying one of the following conditions: \(\| Tx-Ty\| \leq \sup_{n\geq 0}\| x-T^ny\|\) or \(\| Tx-Ty\| \leq \frac{1}{2} ( \sup_{n\geq 1}\| x-T^nx\| + \sup_{n\geq 1}\| y-T^ny\| )\) for all \(x,y\in C\).
