The paper considers the Cauchy problem for a semilinear fractional nonautonomous integro-differential equation in a Banach space \(E\). Two existence results for mild solutions to the Cauchy problem are given by the fixed point method with assumptions that for each \(t\in [0, \ a]\), the related operator \(A(t)\) is a closed linear operator from a dense domain \(D(A)\subseteq E\) to \(E\) such that \(D(A)\) is independent of \(t\), and \(-A(t)\) generates an analytic semigroup; the related nonlinear function is Carathéodory continuous and satisfies some growth conditions and a noncompactness measure condition, and others.
