The author studies the compactness and the stability of the family of the weak solutions of nonautonomous maximal monotone flows, subjected to nonparametric perturbations of the operator. This is achieved by providing a variational formulation of the flow, and using \(\Gamma\)-convergence with respect to a special nonlinear topology of weak-type. The author proves that all sequences of those flows have a \(\Gamma\)-convergent subsequence, and that the \(\Gamma\)-limit is also a maximal monotone flow and exhibits no long memory. He proves that the corresponding Cauchy problem is \(\Gamma\)-compact and \(\Gamma\)-stable within the class of flows of maximal monotone operators. Finally, he briefly outlines how the above results can be applied to some quasilinear parabolic boundary value problems, including models of nonparametric homogenization and of viscous fluid flow.
