The author considers a time-optimal control problem for the transfer to the origin of motions in a smooth vector field for which the optimal control is continuous. It is shown that a control-trajectory pair satisfying the maximum principle is not optimal, if the trajectory passes through a so-called nonuniqueness point. The set of nonuniqueness points is described for a plane parallell velocity field with a symmetric or nonsymmetric profile.
