The convergence set of a divergent formal power series \(f(z_0,z_1,\ldots,z_n)\) is defined as the set of points \(\xi\in{\mathbb P}^n\) such that the formal power series \(f(tw_0,tw_1,\ldots,tw_n)\) in \(t\in\mathbb C\) is convergent for some \((w_0,\ldots,w_n)\in\pi^{-1}(\xi)\), where \(\pi:{\mathbb C}^{n+1}\setminus\{0\}\to{\mathbb P}^n\) is the canonical projection. The main result of the paper under review states that if \(K_j\subset{\mathbb P}^n\), \(j\geq1\), are compact pluripolar sets and \(K_j^\star\) is the pluripolar hull of \(K_j\), then \(\bigcup_{j=1}^\infty K_j^\star\) is a convergence set. This generalizes an earlier result of \textit{D. Ma} and \textit{T. S. Neelon} [Complex Anal. Synerg. 1, Paper No. 4, 21 p. (2015; Zbl 1339.32001)]. Recall that \(E\subset{\mathbb P}^n\) is pluripolar if \(E\subset\varphi^{-1}(-\infty)\) for some \(\omega\)-plurisubharmonic function \(\varphi\) on \({\mathbb P}^n\), where \(\omega\) is the Fubini-Study form. The pluripolar hull of a pluripolar set \(E\subset{\mathbb P}^n\) is \(E^\star=\bigcap\varphi^{-1}(-\infty)\), the intersection being taken over all \(\omega\)-plurisubharmonic functions \(\varphi\) on \({\mathbb P}^n\) such that \(E\subset\varphi^{-1}(-\infty)\).
