The authors study specific properties of a certain type of differential operators. More specifically, they study the operators \[ T^n_{\lambda_1,\lambda_2,\ldots, \lambda_n }= D^n+\sum_{k=1}^{n-1}\lambda_k D^{n-k}+\lambda_n I, \tag{1} \] where \(D\) is the differential operator and \(I\) the identity, on the weighted Hardy space \(H^2(\beta)\), \(\beta=(\beta _n)_n\). They prove that these operators are bounded if and only if \(D\) is bounded, provided that \(\lambda_n\ne0\). They further prove that these operators are compact if and only if \(D\) is compact, provided that \(\lambda_n=0\). They also prove that \(D^j\), \(j\in\mathbb{N}\), has the Hyers-Ulm Stability property, but they give a specific example of an operator of the form (1) which does not have this property.
