    This paper studies Dirac groupoids, that is Lie groupoids with Dirac structures that are compatible with the multiplication. Let us recall that the notion of Dirac structure has been introduced by Courant and Weinstein. Independently, Dorfman proved that Dirac structures are useful in the theory of infinite dimensional Hamiltonian systems. In this work, the author describes infinitesimally Dirac groupoids in terms of geometric objects called Dirac bialgebroids. In the cases of Poisson and presymplectic groupoids, the corresponding Dirac bialgebroids are the Lie bialgebroids and IM-2-forms, respectively. These cases are well known, but for other cases, the author find new properties.
