In this interesting paper the author is concerned with Hölder continuous functions on an annulus. It is known that any Hölder continuous function on the unit circle is the sum of two functions, such that one extends holomorphically into the unit disc and another extends holomorphically into the complement of the unit disc. In the paper, the author proves that an analogue of this result holds in the case of Hölder continuous functions on an annulus \(A\) which have zero averages on all circles which are contained in \(A\) and which surround the hole.
