This paper presents a proof of the Pontryagin maximum principle (two results) as a necessary optimality condition for (regular) autonomous control problems with jointly varying endpoints and with phase (or state) inequality and equality constraints. These conditions form a complete set in the sense of counting the equations and the variables. The proofs are very technical and rather involved.
