The concept of submanifolds of finite type was introduced by B.-Y. Chen in 1984 [see \textit{B.-Y. Chen}, Total mean curvature and submanifolds of finite type. Series in Pure Mathematics. 1. World Scientific, Singapore (1984; Zbl 0537.53049)]). In the paper under review, the author classifies \(3\)-dimensional null \(2\)-type submanifolds of the Euclidean space \(E^5\) with parallel normalized mean curvature vector under certain hypothesis.
