Basic algebras were introduced by \textit{I. Chajda, R. Halaš} and \textit{J. Kühr} in [Semilattice structures. Lemgo: Heldermann Verlag (2007; Zbl 1117.06001)] as an appropriate tool for the description of lattices with antitone involutions on their principal filters. They in fact generalize both the MV-algebras and orthomodular lattices. Also, another algebraic structure, the so-called double basic algebras can be assigned to lattices with section antitone involutions. In this paper, the author studies properties of double basic algebras, their interval algebras and several conclusions of the so-called pseudo-commutativity.
