For each semi-ideal \({\mathcal F} \subset \text{Conj}_G\) (the set of conjugacy classes of closed subgroups), a universal \({\mathcal F}\)-space generates an equivariant cohomology theory \(H_{\mathcal F}^\ast\), called the tom Dieck cohomology theory. The locked cohomology of \(G\) is the ring \(H_{\mathcal P}(\ast)\), where \({\mathcal P} = \text{Conj}_G \setminus \{(e)\}\). The main result of the paper is to compute the locked cohomology of the torus.
