The author proves the following main result: Let \(\mathcal{T}\) be a triangulated category with set indexed coproducts. Suppose \(S\) is a compact simply connected corigid object of \(\mathcal{T}\) and \(\{\Sigma^{i}\mid i\in\mathbb{Z}\}\). Then \(\mathcal{A}=\{X\in \mathcal{T}\mid \mathrm{Hom}_{\mathcal{T}}(S,\Sigma^{i}X)=0\;\text{for}\;i<0\}\) and \(\mathcal{B}=\{X\in \mathcal{T}\mid \mathrm{Hom}_{\mathcal{T}}(S,\Sigma^{i}X)=0\;\text{for}\;i>0\}\) form a non-degenerate co-t-structure. Moreover, the coheart \(\mathcal{C}=\mathcal{A}\cap\mathcal{B}\) is an abelian subcategory of \(\mathcal{T}\) and the functor \(\mathrm{Hom}(S,-):\mathcal{C}\to {\mathcal M}od(\mathrm{End}(S)^{\text{op}})\) is an equivalence.
