An \(mm\)-space is a triple \((X,d,\mu)\), where \(d\) is a complete separable metric on a set \(X\) and \(\mu\) a Borel measure on \((X,d)\) with \(\mu(X)< \infty\). The property of measure concentration is that an arbitrary 1-Lipschitz function \(f:X\rightarrow R\) on an \(mm\)-space \(X\) is almost close to a constant function. The author proves that if such a concentration phenomenon arise, then any 1-Lipschitz map \(f\) from \(X\) to a metric space \(Y\) with a doubling measure also concentrates to a constant map.
