The authors consider digital \((t,\alpha,\beta,m \times n,s)\)-nets constructed via rank-\(1\) polynomial lattices (The concept of \((t,\alpha,\beta,m \times n,s)\)-nets is a generalization of \((t,m,s)\)-nets). The authors show that their construction has a large figure of merit, i.e. their construction yields small \(t\). By comparing their results with existing constructions they conclude that their construction yields smaller \(t\)-values for large dimension \(s\).
