On the Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand resolution for Kac-Moody algebras and quantized enveloping algebras (Q2468658): Difference between revisions

The authors construct the Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand resolution for a maximal integrable highest weight module over an arbitrary Kac-Moody algebra and also its generalizations to standard parabolic subalgebras. The authors give a new elementary proof of the exactness of this resolution, which also works in the quantum group setting avoiding specialization. The proof works only for symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebras. For non-symmetrizable classical case the statement extends applying some other methods.
