Stability of solutions of Volterra integrodifferential equations (Q2471595): Difference between revisions

The author considers the stability problem in Lyapunov's sense for a class of Volterra integro-differential equations, in which the nonlinear terms are given by a holomorphic function of variables or by some functionals in integral form in a small neighbourhood of zero, represented by Fréchet series. The structure of the general solution is analyzed by the first Lyapunov method in a neighbourhood of zero. The solution is represented as a power series in initial values and the small parameter. In the last paragraph, the stability problem in two critical cases is investigated: the case of one zero root and the case of a pair of pure imaginary roots for the characteristic polynomial.
