The authors use the standard Hyers' method to study homomorphisms and derivations between \(C^*\)-ternary algebras associated with the following Cauchy-Jensen type functional equation \[ f\left(\frac{x+y}{2}+z\right) + f\left(\frac{x+z}{2}+y\right) + f\left(\frac{y+z}{2}+x\right)= 2(f (x)+ f (y) +f (z)). \] Reviewer's comment: Using arXiv:math/0511539v1 and the received dates of ALL papers concerning stability of \(C^*\)-ternary structures, one can easily observe that the first paper on this area is the reviewer's paper [Bull. Belg. Math. Soc. - Simon Stevin 14, No. 1, 135--142 (2007; Zbl 1132.39026)]. It is strange that in almost all papers related to this subject the authors referred to the reviewer's joint paper with \textit{M. Amyari} [Lett. Math. Phys. 77, No. 1, 1--9 (2006; Zbl 1112.39021)] while the exact citation is the paper above. Unfortunately, the authors of the paper under review also missed to cite the papers above.
