    The main results is: Let a real-valued function \( q \in C[0, + \infty ) \cap C^3 ( {0, + \infty })\) bounded from above be defined on the interval \([0,+\infty)\), and let this function satisfy the conditions \[ \int_{x_0 }^{ + \infty } \left( \frac{{q'}^2}{|q|^{5/2}} + \frac{|q''|}{|q|^{3/2}}\right) dx < \infty, \quad\int_{x_0 }^{ + \infty } \frac{1}{|q|^{1/2}} dx = \infty. \] Moreover, let \(q(0)=0\), let \(q'(x)\) preserve the sign for all sufficiently large \(x\), let \(q'''(x)\) have a bounded variation on \([1,+\infty)\), and let the following estimates be valid: \[ \begin{aligned} &q(x) = O(x^{2 + \varepsilon }),\\ &q^{(\nu)}(x) = O(x^{\varepsilon - \nu } q(x)), \;x \to \infty ,\;\forall \varepsilon > 0,\;\nu = 1,2,3, \\ &q^{(\nu)}(x) = o(x^{ - \nu }),\quad x \to 0 + ,\;\nu = 1,2,3. \end{aligned} \] Then the density of the spectral measure of the operator \(L_{q}\) admits the asymptotics \[ \begin{multlined} \pi \rho' (\lambda) = \lambda ^{1/2} - \frac{1}{2\lambda^{1/2}} \int_0^{a_\lambda } q'(x)\cos (2x\lambda ^{1/2}) dx \\ - \frac{q''({a_\lambda})}{8\lambda ^{3/2}} + \frac{1}{8\lambda^{3/2}} \int_{a_\lambda}^\infty q'''(x)\cos (2x\lambda ^{1/2}) dx+ o(\lambda^{3/2})\text{ as }\lambda \to \infty,\end{multlined} \] where \(a_\lambda = \pi/2\lambda^{1/2}\).
