The author studies the asymptotic behavior of solutions of a particular class of difference equations of the form \(x_{n+1}= ax^p_{n-2m+1}/(b+cx^{p-1}_{n-2k})\), where \(n=0,1,2...\), \(m,k\in {\mathbb N}\), \(2k>2m-1\), \(a,b,c\) are nonnegative real numbers and \(p>1\). Conditions for the existence of bounded, stable and oscillating solutions are obtained. Neither examples nor applications are given to show the usefulness of the obtained results.
