\({\lambda}\)-symmetries of some chains of ordinary differential equations (Q2510798): Difference between revisions

This paper deals with recursion operators, with the objective of study the \(\lambda\)-symmetries of the equations generated by some family of recursion operators, including Riccati and Abel chains. The main result shows that for any of this type of chains there is a common \(\lambda\)-symmetry for all the equations in the chain. As a corollary, the Riccati chain is associated with any other chain generated by an operator in that family. This association can be used to obtain the solutions of these equations if some auxiliar result about the integrability is provided.
