A reconsideration of Hua's inequality (Q2569956): Difference between revisions

In his book ``Additive theory of prime numbers'' (1965; Zbl 0192.39304), \textit{L. K. Hua} used an elementary algebraic inequality. This inequality has been extended in various ways by Wang (1992), Pearce and Pečarić (1994), Dragomir and Yang (1996), Pečarić (2002), etc. The authors of the present paper offer a theorem in the semigroup setting, for general convex functions. As particular cases all the results proved by the above authors, are reobtained.
