In complex analysis, the properties of the oscillations and the growth of analytic functions have been investigated by means of Nevanlinna theory. Let \(I\) be a basic cube of the form \(\prod_{j=1}^d[n_j, n_{j+1})\), for \(n_1, \dots, n_d\in \mathbb{Z}\). The author considers a subharmonic function \(u\) and a basic cube \(I\), and observes whether the oscillations of \(u\) have any effect on the growth of \(u\). The author produces a Phragmén-Lindelöf type theorem giving bounds on the minimal possible growth of subharmonic functions with frequent oscillations between zero and one. The methods and techniques are given in [\textit{P. W. Jones} and \textit{N. G. Makarov}, Ann. Math. (2) 142, No. 3, 427--455 (1995; Zbl 0842.31001)].
