In this paper the authors show some ways of constructing a topologically transitive cocycle over an arbitrary odometer possessing discrete orbits. They construct two disjoint classes \(\mathcal K_1\) and \(\mathcal K_2\) of topologically transitive cylinder transformations over odometers. Each of these constructions depends on some arbitrary chosen sequence of real numbers which decrease to zero. For \(\mathcal K_1\) the rate of convergence is strictly greater than \(1/2\), while for \(\mathcal K_2\) the rate is strictly less than \(1/2\). The main result of the present note says that for \(f\in \mathcal K_1\cup \mathcal K_2\) the set \(\{x\in X : (x,0)\;\text{has the discrete orbit in the cylinder}\, \}\not=\emptyset\) and for all \(f\in \mathcal K_1\) it may have the cardinality of the continuum.
