The authors study a boundary value problem for an abstract first order linear differential equation with integral boundary condition. They obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for unique solvability as well as well-posedness. Further, they also study the Fredholm solvability and obtain a result on stability of solution with respect to small perturbation. The study is interesting and useful in the semigroup theory.
