On stability results for \(\phi\)-strongly pseudocontractive mappings (Q2490767): Difference between revisions

The authors introduce an iteration scheme that generalizes the Mann and Ishikawa iteration schemes with errors in an arbitrary Banach space. The iteration schemes introduced by \textit{G.~Das} and \textit{J.~P.\ Debata} [Indian J.\ Pure Appl.\ Math.\ 17, 1263--1269 (1986; Zbl 0605.47054)] and \textit{G.~E.\ Kim, H.~Kiuchi} and \textit{W.~Takahashi} [Sci.\ Math.\ Jpn.\ 56, 133--141 (2002; Zbl 1011.47040)] are special cases of the iteration scheme studied by the authors. They also obtain stability results for \(\phi \)-hemicontractive mappings on an arbitrary Banach space.
