    The aim of this note is to give an elementary and simple proof of the following theorem of H. König: Suppose \(X\) is a compact Hausdorff space and \(f(\cdot,y): X\to \mathbb{R}\) is upper-semicontinuous for every \(y\in Y\). Further, \(f\) is \({1\over 2}\)-concave-convex. Then we have \[ \sup_ x \inf_ y f(x,y)= \inf_ y \sup_ x f(x,y). \] {}.
