By computing the étale cohomology of the Lichtenbaum complex \(\gamma(2)\), on smooth varieties over arbitrary fields, some results by Colliot-Thélène and Raskind are obtained and extended by means of the general framework of Hochschild-Serre spectral sequences associated with such \(\gamma(2)\).
