Almost strongly \(\theta\)-continuous functions are introduced. A function f:(X,T)\(\to(Y,S)\) is almost strongly \(\theta\)-continuous iff for each \(x\in X\) and each \(V\in S\) such that f(x)\(\in V\), there exist \(U\in T\) such that \(x\in U\) and f(Ū)\(\subset Int(\bar V)\). Properties of almost strongly \(\theta\)-continuous functions are investigated and characterizations of almost strongly \(\theta\)-continuous functions are given using regular open sets, \(\theta\)-open sets, regular closed sets, \(\theta\)-closed sets, \(\delta\)-open sets and \(\delta\)-closed sets. Each of almost-regular, weakly Hausdorff, quasi H-closed, N-closed, and nearly-compact are further investigated in the investigation of almost strongly \(\theta\)-continuous functions.
