    An \(n\times n\) matrix \(W= (W_{ij})\) with non-zero entries is called a type II matrix if \(\sum^n_{k=1} W_{ik}/W_{jk}= n\delta_{ij}\). Up to equivalence it is shown that there are three type II matrices with \(n= 5\).
