In this article the author studies the local singularities of odd- dimensional Pfaff equations, i.e., equations \(\omega =0\), where \(\omega\) is an exterior differential 1-form defined on a \(C^{\infty}\)-manifold \(M^ n\) of dimension \(n=2k+1\geq 3\). He gives a complete classification of the germs of Pfaff equations representing singularities of codimension \(\leq 3\). In the case of a 3-dimensional manifold, all germs at any point are completely classified for Pfaff equations in general position. A 1- form in general position shall be understood to be 1-form in some open set of 1-forms in \(M^ n\) in the Whitney fine topology. The results in this paper extend the classification of \textit{J. Martinet} [Ann. Inst. Fourier 20, No.1, 95-178 (1970; Zbl 0189.100)], in which the case of codimension one is considered. The problem on even-dimensional \(C^{\infty}\)-manifolds is studied also by the author [Usp. Mat. Nauk 43, No.5, 193-194 (1988; Zbl 0671.58003)].
